This is the center of the ThunderClan camp. ThunderClanners sit around here sharing tongues, stuffing their bellies and gossiping all day long unless they have other duties to perform of course. It is covered in soft dirt and sand, and on one side is shaded by an old tree where the warriors often go to eat. The fresh-kill pile is in the center, near the high rock, and is almost always stocked high with food. New warriors must spend a vigil in the center of camp to fully gain they're warrior name. Sometimes kits come out to play on sunny days, while elders come out occassionally to talk or visit. In winter a thick layer of snow will evenly cover the entire camp, which is the best time for play as long as it's not too cold.

This is where the leader eats, sleeps and occassionally holds private meetings with his or her deputy and medicine cat to chat about the clan. It resides on the side of the Highrock. The den looks like it has been dug-out so it is actually right under the Highrock like a cave. It is a huge den and there is lichen hanging over the entrance to help conceal it a bit better. The ground is littered with moss for comfort, as are all the dens.

The medicine cat's den is a large clearing with nests ready for sick cats, and two large rocks forming a crevice where the medicine cat sleeps and where herbs are stored. It usually has a puddle of water in the center, so sick cats do not have to venture out of camp. The den is abundant in ferns and moss, but is not the most well-protected of the camp. Cats in the past have used this place to secretly exit camp.

A small entrance tunnel leads to the warrior's den, underneath a large bush which shelters the it from precipitation. In the center is where the most senior warriors get to sleep, where it is the warmest, while younger warriors must sleep on the outer edges where it is coldest. There are always fresh, unoccupied nests ready for the next resident. In the corner, where the warriors keep their old bedding and exchange it for new, is a large pile of dead moss.

Apprentices sleep here, in this small, but nice clearing near a tree stump and sheltered in ferns. Apprentices must get up early to start training, so it is sometimes in a bit of a wreck. Afterwards, the apprentices must clean it up though, along with the elder's den too.

This is the nursery, a fairly large clearing for queens to come during pregnancy and to care for their kits. The ground is soft so they cannot hurt themselves when they play, and it is well-hidden from hawks and other birds of prey. The queens work long and hard on the nursery walls to keep them thick with thorns, which makes the nursery the safest and most guarded place in the ThunderClan camp. Some cats have made a secret exit here, just in case the queens and their kits need an escape route.
