-Featherstar- The pretty she-cat trotted around the center of the ThunderClan Camp, scenting the air for any Warriors. She realized nobody had gone out on patrol. It had been a nice day all day and most likely many cats would like to take advantage of this to trespass on other territories.
She had seen some cats walking around the camp and working a bit but some were also being quite lazy. Although she was laid back with her Clan members, she didn't ever let them forget she was leader. Featherstar knew all her Warriors names, of course, and she knew the one Apprentice, Cometpaw. She knew exactly who she wanted to go on the Afternoon Patrol, the cats that would go would be Cometpaw, Whitefrost, and Leopardpelt, her deputy.
It was a good bunch and she knew Cometpaw had to have some more experience as an Apprentice to become a Warrior. But his Mentor had not been chosen yet. That was a very important subject for Featherstar to think about and it had to be made quickly so Cometpaw could start his training. The leader let out a yowl of calling and while she waited, she gave herself a thorough grooming.

Cometpaw I am surrounded by idiots. Cometpaw froze- one forepaw stretched in the air from batting lazily at a passerby moth.
A call of his name had paused his life button.
He groaned through clenched teeth and closed lips.
Falling back on all fours the tom turned slightly, but stayed where he was. What did she want now? Even though Featherstar was the leader she pricked the silver tabby's fur the wrong way.
With a roll of his green eyes, the former loner trotted slowly, on purpose, towards the leader with his eyes slipping into narrow slits.
"Yes, Featherstar?" An attitude slipped past his teeth- part of him granted exit from his jaws. After it had slithered out of his mouth he regretted it- knowing that it was bad to have an attitiude around the higher ranking cats; hah, but let them tell me that.

-Featherstar-
The young Leader stopped her grooming as she heard Cometpaw slowly walk towards her. She growled inwardly and her fur bristled slightly, although she wasn't angered very easily, this Apprentice didn't really know anything about how to respect a Leader.
She let her fur fall flat as she nodded a greeting to Cometpaw. "Hello, Cometpaw. She purred as she flicked her tail impatiently behind her.
Yes, Featherstar? was what the Apprentice said as he got closer to her. She knew there was always going to be attitude in this young cat, but she knew if he wanted to become a Warrior he would have to straighten up quickly. Hopefully that would happen whenever he got a mentor.
"Calm your tongue, Cometpaw. I'm sure it's no bother for you to obey your Leader and not sit around like a lump. There was a hint of amusement in her voice and she narrowed her eyes as she looked down at the young tom. "Go on the Afternoon Border Patrol with Whitefrost and Leopardpelt, would you? It would do you some good. Now," She flicked Cometpaw's shoulder, lightly, with her tail and gestured towards the Warriors Den. "Go and find them both and tell them that I asked you to join them." Featherstar blinked at the cat and waited for him to give her some snappy reply, it wouldn't bother her but she would give him a quick piece of her mind.
As she turned to walk away, she said, Send Whitefrost to me when you come back, I would like to speak to her. She would soon be announcing Cometpaw's new mentor, and that would most likely be Whitestorm. [/blockquote]

Cometpaw I am surrounded by idiots. "All right, all right." He forced his sharp tongue to cease, and turned away with a small smile expanding his cheeks.
He forced this small amount of respect, and it took all lot.
Once his back was turned, the apprentice sighed loudly; and over-exaggerated his annoyance.
He made it incredibly clear.
The end of his tail twitched as he scampered towards the warriors den in search of the white warrior. Even though he was fond to the she-cat he was in pursuit of, he couldn't help but be surrounded by a large amount of annoyance.
I don't understand why the leader gets to lay around all day while we work. I don't get why she can't just come get her herself.
Cometpaw sighed, and stepped lightly into the den. One day, I'll be in here. The white outline of Whitefrost glowed beneath the depths of the den. Heh, she sticks out like a crow in the snow. The tom chuckled slightly.
"Hey, Whitefrost? Featherstar wants you!"
whitefrost xxx.So stand in the rain, Stand your ground. Stand up when it's all crashing down. You stand through the pain- You won't drown. "Oh, she does?" Whitefrost poked her pretty, dainty head out of the dwelling that was called the warriors den. She glanced down at Cometpaw- who seemed to be fuming; trying to control his anger. A grin took control of her mouth.
"Thank you, Cometpaw." Watching the little apprentice stalk away sent a purr of amusement rippling her throat, as she padded swiftly towards Featherstar. Her light silver gray paws barely brushed the ground.
"Did you need something?" With a dip of her head, Whitefrost mewed respectfully to the leader.

-Featherstar-
Featherstar rolled her eyes at Cometpaw's annoyed sigh and let out a quiet purr of amusement. She liked that a few Apprentices were ill-tempered, it would only mean they would have to work harder to be called and respected as a Warrior.
As the she-cat waited for Whitefrost, she started to think about her Clan's needs and also strenght. ThunderClan had strong Warriors, but very few. They needed all the Warriors they could get in case some other Clan decided to lead an attack on them. Although there was no reason to have any Clan attack ThunderClan, she still thought that somehow every Clan hated her Clan.
She shook the thoughts away from her head as Whitefrost got into her line of sight. "Whitefrost, I was thinking that you should mentor Cometpaw. You seem to get along with him and tolerate his temper more then the rest of the Warriors. Featherstar let out a loud, rumbling purr of amusement and looked Whitefrost deep in the eyes, her own green eyes sparkling in the sun light.
I trust you will mentor this young cat very well. We need strong and wise Warriors in ThunderClan. She blinked away the seriousness in her eyes and bowed her head at Whitefrost. I will announce this before sunhigh tomorrow. Featherstar nodded and flicked her tail behind her in dismissal as she set off to do a little bit a hunting before dark set. [/blockquote]
